Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute of Engineering Sciences and Technology, commonly known as GIKI is a well-known and popular private-sector engineering university located in Topi Swabi Khyber Pakhtunkhwa KPK. GIKI is established in the year 1993 and offers multiple of academic programs in the fields of engineering, computer, sciences, and business management. GIKI is recognized for its high-quality education, research facilities, and highly qualified faculty members.

GIKI admission test 2024

The GIKI entry test has the highest weightage for merit determinations. the entry test of GIKI is considered one of the most difficult and conceptual entrance exams. The GIKI entry test is more difficult as compared to any other university such as NUST or ECAT. GIKI admissions test pattern and Syllabus are as follows

  • Mathematics = 30 MCQs 
  • Physics = 30 MCQs 
  • English = 20 MCQs 
  • Total Marks = 200 
  • Total = 80 MCQs 
  • Time Allowed = 02 hours

Is there any Negative marking in the GIKI entry test

There is a Negative marking in only Math and Physics portion means every incorrect answer will deduct -1 mark and every correct MCQ will add +2.5 marks. However, English portion has no negative marking. 

GIKI Merit List

Admissions in GIKI are totally based on merit. Merit is determined by student perforation in the GIKI entry test and FSC, matric marks. Following in The GIKI Aggregate formula. 

  • 70% of GIKI Test score
  • 20% of FSC Part 1 / A level marks
  • 10% of SSC / O level marks

What is the GIKI Fee structure  2024

GIKI is a private-sector university. The fee structure of GIKI is very expensive. However, GIKI offers multiple of scholarships and student loan programs for deserving students. The Tuition fee & Accommodation Charges of GIKI one semester is provided below. GIKI provides free electricity ( 60 to 100 units) to every student in the hostels.

  • GIKI Per Semester Fee = 407,500 (Engineering, Artificial Intelligence AI and Computer Science CS Program)
  • GIKI Per Semester Fee = 360,000 (Management Sciences Program)

GIKI Scholarships and Aid

Although GIKI is very expensive in terms of semester fees but GIKI University provides several HEC Scholarships, Need-based Scholarships, and Merit-based Scholarships every year. SOPREST Scholarship increased to 30 Million PKR while Merit Scholarship is increased to 20 seats. GIKI also encourages female students and provides financial assistance to the top 10 female students. PEEF Scholarship is provided to 10 Punjab students.
