According to PMDC policy, Dow Medical University in Karachi (DUHS) has conducted the MDCAT exam for Sindh Pre-medical students to get admission to Medical or dental colleges in MBBS/ BDS courses in Pakistan. Almost 45 thousand students in Sindh appear in DUHS MDCAT. The result of the MDCAT exam has been uploaded on the PMC website which students can see by entering their MDCAT roll number or CNIC.

The majority of Students who appear in the Sindh MDCAT failed in the exam and only 22 thousand out of 45 thousand were able to pass the exam in which majority got passing marks for BDS programs only because MBBS students must have 55% and BDS students must have 50% in MDCAT exam. This is not the first time, but the MDCAT exam's result is always like that. There are 2400 Public sector MBBS seats in Sindh Medical Colleges.
