General Information about NUMS 2024

Starting from the NUMS entry test, NUMS is the National University of Medical Sciences located in Rawalpindi. NUMS is a government organization and it is under the Pak army. NUMS has multiple affiliated Medical and Dental colleges in Pakistan. students who want to get admission to NUMS-affiliated medical and dental colleges must appear in the NUMS entry test and pass it to be eligible for admissions. 

    The most Prominent Medical and Dental colleges under NIMS are Army Medical ColleegsRawalpindi (AMC), Cominiend Milteral Hospital CMH Lahore Medical and Dental colleges, CMH Multan, etc. 

    Paper Pattern:

    NUMS entry test consists of two significant portions, a Subject-based exam, and a psychological Test. The subject-based exam consists of 150 MCQs. The psychological test consists of simple 50 IQ MCQs. Merit is calculated on the marks of the subject-based exam but it is mandatory to pass the NUMS psychological exam. 

    • Biology 60 MCQs 
    • Chemistry 38 MCQs 
    • Physics 37 MCQs 
    • English 15 MCQs

    Validity

    • NUMS exam is valid for 01 years.

    Eligibility

    • Passed PMDC MDCAT exam with 60% for MBBS 
    • Passed MDCAT exam with 55% for BDS
    • 60% in Premedical FSC or levels.  

      Age limit

      • 16 Year above

        Passing Marks for NUMS 
        • 60% is required to pass the NUMS entry test

        Tips To Prepare For NUMS 2024

        Build your Interest 

        Medical is a very respectable field but also it demands a lot of interest in the studies. For the Appearing NUMS entry test, you must have an interest in MBBS or BDS otherwise you will not be happy

        Set your timetable

        For the Preparation for the NUMS entry test, the First time you have to do is to consider all the factors and make a study timetable accordingly. Give maximum time for studies. there is a very short time left for the Entry test date so you have to be focused on your studies.
