National Testing Service (NTS) conductes National Aptitude Test (NAT) 12 times in a year. NTS conducts NAT exams each month at different test centers in Pakistan. NAT exam is valid for admission in Multiple Government and Private Secotre universities in Pakistan.

General Information about the NTS NAT exam

The Best thing about the NAT exam is that you can apply for admissions to multiple universities based on a single NAT result. NAT exam is applicable for getting admission in undergraduate/Bachelor programs offered by NTS-affiliated universities. There are multiple NTS-affiliated universities including Quaid-i-Azam University Islamabad, IST University Islamabad, CASE University Islamabad, FAST-NU (All Campuses),  COMSATS University Islamabad, and Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI), etc.

Paper Pattern:

Different NAT exams are depending upon the candidate's field. such as NAT-IE for Pre-Engineering,  NAT-IM for Pre-Medical students,  NAT-IA for Arts Group, and NAT-ICS for Computer Science. You can apply for the NAT exam on the NTS website.

Following is the test pattern for the NAT exam

  • English Portion (20 MCQs) 
  • Analytical Portion  (20 MCQs) 
  • Quantitative Portion (20 MCQs)
  • Physics (10 MCQs) 
  • Chemistry or Computer (10 MCQs)  
  • Mathematics (10 MCQs)

For PreMedical students 

  • English Portion (20 MCQs) 
  • Analytical Portion  (20 MCQs) 
  • Quantitative Portion (20 MCQs)
  • Physics (8 MCQs)
  • Chemistry (8 MCQs) 
  • Biology (14 MCQs)

Validity

NAT NTS exam is valid for 01 Year.

Eligibility

  • 50% marks in SSC
  • 50% marks in HSSC

    Passing Marks for NAT NTS 

    The total marks  in the NTS NAT exam is 100 and the Passing Marks are 50%
