UET Peshawar
Founded in 1952 as a constituent college of Peshawar University, UET Peshawar gained full university status in 1980 and adopted its present name in 2012. Today, its flagship campus in Peshawar is supported by satellite campuses in Abbottabad, Bannu, Kohat, Mardan, and the new Jalozai campus—expanding access to engineering education across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

UET Peshawar Admissions
UET Peshawar admissions are conducted annually through a competitive process for undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs in engineering and technology. Prospective students must appear in the ETEA Engineering Entry Test for undergraduate admissions, which is mandatory for applicants from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Admissions typically open in July–August, and eligibility includes at least 60% marks in FSc Pre-Engineering or equivalent. The university also accepts applications for master's and PhD programs based on GAT (General or Subject) scores, departmental tests, and interviews.
