The Committee was told that, contrary to the popular notion that there was a 65% threshold, there was no specified percentage or qualifying requirements to take the MDCAT exam.
The Committee also talked about the increasing cost of attending private medical colleges during the meeting. In order to make medical education more accessible, particularly for students from middle-class and lower-class families, the Committee emphasized the need to evaluate the present tuition structures of public and private medical institutions.

In addition, the Committee was notified that the Ministry intended to implement new procedures for administering the MDCAT tests in the future. A common paper pattern and the usage of smart devices were among the proposals being considered in order to guarantee uniformity and equity across all testing locations.
The Committee suggested creating a schedule for the MDCAT exam to guarantee that students have enough information beforehand.

In order to restore public trust in the MDCAT process through these remedial actions, the Committee Chair reiterated that ongoing supervision will be maintained to guarantee the prompt implementation of improvements.
