National University of Medical Sciences NUMS is a well-renowned Army-administered Medical Sector university. There are multiple of private-sector medical colleges affiliated with NUMS. Army Medical Colleges AMC which is located in Rawalpindi is also affiliated with NUMS.
Army Medical College is one public sector Medical and Dental college under NUMS. Army Medical Colleges offer some open merit MBBS and BDS seats each year.

NUMS Eligibility
- Pakistani citizens (Including AJK and Gilgit-Baltistan)
- The pass percentage of MDCAT (NUMS) is 55% for admission in MBBS
- The pass percentage of MDCAT (NUMS) is 50% for the BDS Program.
- Minimum 60% aggregate marks in FSc (Pre-Medical) or equivalent
NUMS Merit Formula
- MDCAT (NUMS) = 50%
- HSSC / F.Sc (Pre-Medical)/Equivalent 40%
- SSC / Matric/ Equivalent 10%
