Many MDCAT students demand that the exam be delayed until the end of October. The medical and Dental colleges admissions test, MDCAT, is conducted yearly by PMDC. Students who want to be admitted to MBBS or BDS courses in Pakistani medical colleges must pass the MDCAT exam.

PMDC shared notifications regarding the MDCAT test date and MDCAT syllabus. According to the PMDC press release, the test will be conducted on 22 September. The Syllabus for MDCAT will remain the same as last year's.

• Hardly 1 to 1.5 months post-FSC examination for preparation. 
• Past practice of at least giving 3 months for preparation. 
• A sizeable number of students are expressing their concerns and just seeking enough time. 
• Students are unable to convey their demands due to the X ban 
• Inconsistent policies in different provinces which is unfair.

Delay MDCAT 

Laraib, an MDCAT aspirant and FSC Pre-Medical Student, has demanded Federal Minister of Health Sciences and PMDC postpone the MDCAT exam till the end of September. MDCAT will be conducted by provincial admitting universities (UHS, KMU, SZABMU, DUHS, BUMHS)

She pointed out that her FSC board exams are scheduled in July. She added that it will take a lot of work to prepare for the MDCAT exam in only 1 month.
