NUST is Pakistan top ranked Engineering and sciences university. NUST is a multi-campus public sector university that offers a wide range of programs to students. NUST University offers a number of scholarships to students. At the time of admission, students can select what type of scholarship they wanted to receive. NUST provides Need-based scholarships (NFAAF) for needy students who can't afford the tuition fee. Also, NUST merit-based scholarships are provided to top scorer students to encourage them. NUST provided scholarships in Aid or interest-free loan amounts. Other Scholarships are HEC, PEEF, PEC, & Ehsaas.

NUST give scholarships on the basis of NET results?

NUST doesn't provide scholarships to students who obtain high marks in the NUST entry test however If top 100 students will get 100% of the tuition fee waived off subject to maintenance of a 3.50 CGPA. 

What scholarships are provided by NUST?

NUST university provides 03 different types of financial assistance to students. NUST offers Need-Based scholarships (NFAAF), Merit-Based Scholarships, and Interest-free loans. Students may get other government scholarships such as Ehsaas scholarships, PUNJAB EDUCATIONAL ENDOWMENT FUND (PEEF) scholarships, PEC scholarships, HEC scholarships, and USAID-funded scholarships in Pakistan. NUST also has Zakat funds which provide zakat to needy students. 

When and How to apply for NUST scholarships?

Both UG and Master students can apply for NUST scholarships at the time of the admissions form. Students who can't afford the fee structure are required to submit an online NUST need to base Financial Aid Application Form (NFAAF) available at the website. 
Need-Based​ Scholarships may cover Partial or Full academic expenditures including tuition fees, Hostel fees, etc depending upon the student's financial needs. 
NFAAF collects complete financial information of students including. 
  • Parent gross income. 
  • Assets. 
  • Number of earning hands & Dependents
  • No of the Dependents studying
  • Structure / Ownership of house.
  • Cumulative/ Monthly expenses etc.

What is the last date to apply for NUST scholarships?

The due date or deadline to submit NUST scholarships is the same as Online Admissions applications which are tentatively May & June 2023.

    What are the Eligibility Criteria For NUST Scholarships/ Financial Aid?​​ 

    NUST has a separate committee that assesses the financial need of all candidates who have applied for Need-based scholarships and determines whether or not a candidate is deserving or not. The need is determined on the basis of the financial credentials submitted by the candidate. Selection will be decided on the basis of information provided by students and investigations for the authentication of the provided information. Candidate may be required to appear for an interview before granting of NUST scholarship.
