MDCAT Marks Needed for MBBS Admission
A lot of students are asking how many marks they need to get in the MDCAT exam in order to get admission to Medical or Dental colleges in Pakistan. PMC has scheduled the MDCAT Exam on September. Students have a few days before the Entry Test.

Passing the MDCAT exam to get admission to MBBS or BDS is mandatory.
The Following Marks criteria will be followed for Medical college admission this year.
- 55% marks in MDCAT for MBBS admissions
- 50% marks in MDCAT for BDS admissions
To estimate the minimum marks in MDCAT for getting admissions, we have to consider Last year's closing Merit and this year's Merit formula. As announced by PMDC, the same Merit formula, which was used last year, will also be followed this year.

- 50% weitage of MDCAT marks
- 40% weitage of FSC marks
- 10% weitage of SSC marks
As you know, last year, students get high marks in FSC because only the elective marks counted but this year, students have low marks in FSC. Still no announcement by PMC regarding the FSC count of elective subjects or Full marks.
Minimum MDCAT Marks Needed
- MBBS Admissions Punjab/UHS: 180+ or above marks out of 200 in MDCAT
- MBBS Admissions KPK/KMU: 170+ or above in MDCAT
- MBBS Admissions Sindh/DUHS: 160+ or above in MDCAT
- MBBS Admissions SZABMU: 180+ or above in MDCAT
- MBBS Admissions BUMHS: 145+ or above in MDCAT
