Here we will share the tips and tricks which can be followed to avoid Stress and Anxiety during the MDCAT exam. The MDCAT exam is the entrance exam that is normally conducted by PMDC each year, but this year each province will conduct its own MDCAT exam for its students. MDCAT result 2024 will be applicable for getting admission to any of the public or Private sector Medical or dental colleges. PMC as shared the MDCAT exam schedule for this year.
MDCAT is mandatory to pass for getting admission in Public or Private Sector MBBS or BDS. Students have a few days before the MDCAT exam. many students are stressed and worried about the MDCAT exam.
MDCAT Importance
More than 2 Lakh students will appear in the MDCAT exam. But there are only 8000 seats in Public/Government Sector Medical colleges for MBBS. also 8000 MBBS Seats in Private sector Medical colleges. So you can see out of 2 lakh students only 8000 students will be able to secure admission in Government Medical colleges in Pakistan so the competition is high.

Passing Marks for MDCAT
This year the Passing Marks percentage is reduced a lot. Previously MDCAT passing percentage was 65% but now it is reduced to facilitate students. Following are the MDCAT 2022 Passing Marks.
- 55 % in MDCAT for MBBS (110/200)
- 50% in MDCAT for BDS (100/200)
How to control MDCAT exam STRESS and ANXIETY
Here we will share the techniques and habits that might help you cope with stress and anxiety for the MDCAT exam. Stress Management
- Try to Keep Calm and relax (Close your Eyes and breathe In and Out)
- Believe in yourself. You are not alone you can do it.
- Don't worry about the number of candidates you only need 1 medical seat
- Go to sleep early before the exam day and don't study all night
- Wake up early on exam day and pray Fajr Namaz
- Don't Study new topics on exam day
- Eat and drink well for breakfast
- First attempt topic in which you are more confident about
- Leave Early for the MDCAT center so you may reach in time
- Don't hurry. Read and understand the Questions before answering
- Manage your time according and don't waste time
- Skip the difficult ones and Attempt the easier MCQs first.
- Keep drinking water during exams so you may not get dehydrated
- Go to the washroom once before leaving for the exam Center
- Check your important documents (CNIC, Admit Card) and stationery Item (Ballpoints, Clipboard)
- Don't worry if you don't know any MCQ, Skip it and attempt it in the Last
- Have Strong Faith in ALLAH
- Keep reciting silently some duas or surats.
- MBBS or BDS is not the only field, there are many other good fields.
- There is no Negative Marking in MDCAT.
