Pakistan Medical Commission (PMDC) conducts the MDCAT exam, which is a competitive exam for medical students. The MDCAT exam is mandatory to pass for admission to any Medical and Dental college in Pakistan. each year, almost 2 lakh plus students appear in the MDCAT exam, which is conducted at the national level. Previously, during the times of PMDC, the MDCAT or MCAT exam was conducted at the provincial level, meaning each province conducted its separate exa,ms such as KMU MDCAT in KPK, UHS MDCAT in Punjab, DUHS MDCAT in Sindh, etc.
