Each Year, NUMS conducts Its Entry test for Admissions to NUMS-affiliated Medical and Dental Colleges. NUMS Entry test is the second most popular MEdical Colleges admission test after MDCAT however MDCAT test is a mandatory requirement for the NUMS Entry test.

NUMS Syllabus

NUMS Entry Test is comprised of 02 parts. There is No Negative Marking. 

PART ‘A’ Subjective

It Shall carry 95 % weightage of the NUMS Entry Test. NUMS Part 1 consists of 150 MCQs with a stipulated time of 150 minutes.

  • Biology - 35 % (55 MCQs) 
  • Chemistry - 25 % (40 MCQs) 
  • Physics - 25 % (40 MCQs)
  • English - 10 % (15 MCQs) 

PART ‘B’ (Psychological Test)

It Shall carry 5% weightage of the total NUMS Entry Test also It Shall consist of 100 MCQs with a stipulated time of 30 minutes.

The difficulty level of NUMS

For NUMS Subjective MCQs of Biology, Chemistry and Physics shall be 

  • Easy - 25 % 
  • Moderate - 60 % 
  • Hard - 15 %
