UET Lahore ECAT Schedule
UET Lahore has announced the schedule of the combined entry test also known as ECAT for undergraduate admissions in BS Engineering programs all over Punjab Pakistan. ECAT Combined Entrance Test for admission in Public Sector Engineering and Technology institutions of Punjab. Per the instruction of PEC, multiple ECAT tests will be conducted each year (02) and the best result should be taken when merit is being determined during the admission process. The score in ECAT will be valid for admission to UET in Fall.

ECAT Fee
Students are advised to get entry test tokens by paying 2500/- from given designated branches only or online.
ECAT Syllabus & Pattern
ECAT Syllabus & Pattern. The Test would be of the Intermediate FSC level. It will be offered in the following combinations:
- 30 MCQs Physics,
- 30 MCQs Mathematics/Biology
- 10 MCQs English
- 30 MCQs Chemistry/ Computer Science/Statistics
The candidates should select a combination from one of the above choices, depending on their Intermediate (or equivalent) subjects. The duration of the Test will be a hundred minutes. Ten questions will be related to English, and the rest 90 MCQs will be equally divided among the other subjects.
- Total MCQs in ECAT = 100
- Passing Marks in ECAT = 33
- Total Time = 100 minutes
- Correct MCQs = +4 Marks
- Incorrect MCQs = -1 Marks
- Unattempted MCQs = 0 Marks
Negative Marking in ECAT
There is a negative marking in the ECAT test. Each correct answer is worth 04 points and for every incorrect answer 01 points will be deducted.
Passing Marks in ECAT
A minimum passing score in the Entrance Test is 33%.

How To Apply for ECAT
The applicant needs to log on to the UET admission portal and enter basic personal and educational information after a token on payment of Rs.2,500/-. ECAT token number can be obtained in two ways:
- through HBL online banking if you are an HBL account holder,
- through HBL KONNECT if you are not an HBL account holder.
