General Information about NUMS
NUMS is the second most popular Medical college entrance exam in Pakistan after PMDC MDCAT. The NUMS entry test is mandatory for students wanted to get admission in any of the Public or Private Sector NUMS-affiliated Medical colleges.

Paper Pattern
NUMS has its own Syllabus for pre-medical students NUMS has two test types. One is a Subject-Based Test and the other is a Psychological Test. NUMS Merit is collected on the basis subject-based Test.

PART ‘A’ SubjectiveTest (95% weightage)
- Total Questions = 150 MCQs
- Total Time = 150 Minutes
- Biology = 35% or 60 MCQs
- Chemistry = 25% or 38 MCQs
- Physics = 25% or 37 MCQs
- English = 10% or 15 MCQs
Psychological Test
PART ‘B’ Psychological Test (5% weightage)
- Total Questions = 100 MCQs
- Time = 30 minutes

The NUMS exam is valid for One Year.
