Faisalabad Medical University also commonly known as Punjab Medical Colleges Faisalabad. FMU Located in Faisalabad City in Punjab is one of the finest Medical and Dental Institute in Pakistan offering multiple medical courses. FMU has a beautiful campus and has several vast Lecture Halls, Tutorial Rooms, college Museums, small student Libraries also e-library available for students, an Auditorium, vast playgrounds.

FMU Punjab Medical College was established in 1973 and later in 2009 institute started offering BDS courses with 50 students. 

Parwaz is the official college magazine published annually.

Annals of Punjab Medical College (APMC) is the Medical Research Journal of Punjab Medical College started in 2007. which is published quarterly since 2015.

FMU Admission Date 2023 

Faisalabad Medical University Admissions in MBBS courses are regularised by UHS Lahore. so students who wish to get admission to Punjab Medical College in Faislabad must apply to the combined admissions portal on UHS Lahore which opens admissions in MBBS and BDS in August or September each year.

There are the following number of MBBS and BDS seats in Faisalabad Medical University and Dental Section, Punjab Medical College, Faisalabad respectively

Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility criteria for admissions in Medical and Dental Colleges in Pakistan are determined by Pakistan Medical Commission PMC which states that students must have at least 65 % marks in Pre Medical FSC and 65 % marks in Entry Test MDCAT conducted by PMC. 

Aggregate or Merit formula used in Merit list preparations is also regulated by UHS and provided below.

Faisalabad Medical University is a government Medical and Dental Institue so its fee structure is low and affordable. The fee Structure of Punjab Medical College is mentioned below.
  • 44,000/- approx. Years without Hostel charges
  • 41,000/- approx. hostel charges annually
First-time Admissions charges and Security fees in Medical colleges have to be paid by students at the time of admission in colleges.

Selected BS Programs candidates will deposit a course fee of Rs. 40,000/- per semester and a University registration fee of Rs. 10,000/-Both male and female candidates can apply.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR ADMISSION IS AS UNDER:- • FSc / HSSC (Pre-medical) / A-Level passed with 60% marks and have at least 60% Marks in the latest MDCAT
