Medical Candidates can take admission in AMC in either of the three following categories:
- Army Medical Cadets
- NUMS Cadets
- Paying Cadets

Medical Cadets:
Only Boys can apply in this category. Students can apply through the Join Pak Army website. Admissions for MC opens every year in June or July.
Qualification: FSc (Pre-Medical) or Equivalent with 70% Marks.
Age Limit: 17 to 21 years (also some relaxations)
Height: 5’-4” or (162.5 cm)
Weight Requirement: As per Body Mass Index
Nationality: Pakistani
Requirement: MDCAT, NUMS, Physical Fitness Tests, Medical Tests, Interview, Personality Test, ISSB
Bond: 13 Year to Serve army after Training.
Number of Seats: 100 MBBS and 3 BDS in AMC
Stipend: 50,000/-Monthly Approx.
Rank: Captain
The remaining Medical Cadets will get admission in Other NUMS-affiliated medical colleges.
CMH Lahore (30 MBBS Seats), CMH Multan (5 MBBS Seats), QIMS Quetta (5 MBBS Seats) & KIMS Khariyan (5 MBBS Seats).
After completing MBBS/ BDS, every candidate gets Basic Military Training of 22 weeks offered by GHQ.

NUMS Cadets:
Both Girls and Boys can apply in this category for admission in AMC. This Category is for Civilians and It has a high Closing Merit.
Qualification: FSc (Pre-Medical) or Equivalent with 60% Marks.
Nationality: Pakistani
Requirement: MDCAT & NUMS
Number of Seats: 55 MBBS and 14 BDS in AMC
Fee Structure: 1000000/- per year approx.
Admissions: Buy AMC Prospectus Cost: 3000/
Following attested copies. Documents Required:
- Two photographs Blue Background
- Copy of SSC result
- Copy of HSSC or A-levels result
- Copy of CNIC or “B” form
Qualification: FSc (Pre-Medical) or Equivalent with 60% Marks.
Nationality: Pakistani
Requirement: MDCAT & NUMS
Number of Seats: 45 MBBS and 33 BDS in AMC
FEE: 45K to 50K per Year.
Bond: Serve Pak Army for 3 Years.
Foreign or Overseas Pakistani Seats: 15 MBBS and 7 BDS Seats.
Uniform for all students in AMC is Mandatory.
