1. YOU WON'T GET ADMISSION IF YOU HAVE A LOW SCORE IN FSC.
Yes, you read right. It's not uncommon to hear from the seniors to someone who has not scored 1000+ that its very difficult for you to get admission in a medical school. Yes, scoring more marks in FSC gives you a broader margin but that's not necessary. It's just a game of confidence.
UHS has already allotted weightage as
- MDCAT = 50%
- FSC = 40%
- Matric = 10%
I have seen people who scored far less than us in FSC and still managed to get in Allama Iqbal Medical University AIMU and King Edward Medical University KEMU because of this game-changer. MDCAT. So avail this opportunity to the fullest.

And there is a whole difference of the preparation for FSC exams and the MDCAT. Our Matric and FSc system of Education is more or less cramming. There is a typical way of studying, a typical pattern of examination, and checking alot depending upon way of attempting the paper and how you present your knowledge.
Whereas, MDCAT is a lot more conceptual. Maybe you are good at cramming but not when it comes to concepts. So... Never let your own self befool you.

3. YOU MUST NEED COACHING CLASSES FROM A WELL-REPUTED ACADEMY.
That's not the case dude. There are plenty of people who get themselves enrolled in well-reputed academies but do not put in the due effort MDCAT requires. It is always and just COMMITMENT that helps you get through it. If you are good at managing time, and follow the best possible approach you can do it all by yourself. And if you are not focused, taking academy coaching as light as your college classes, it is literally a waste of your time and money.
4. YOU HAVE TO STUDY PLENTY OF BOOKS.
Yes, its a myth that you have to study plenty of books. Passing the MDCAT is only possible by choosing the correct books, investing your time in the best possible manner, and revising and revising and revising.
Remember, It's better to study a single book 100 times than 100 books a single time.
