NUST Merit Formula = 10% SSC Marks + 15% FSC Marks + 75% NET Marks
75% weightage is for NET marks and the remaining 25% weightage is for the FSC and SSC scores of students. Engineering / Computer Science / Business Studies and Social Sciences / LLB / Architecture and Industrial Design / Biotechnology/ BS Mathematics / BS Physics / BS Chemistry.

- ACT / SAT Score = 75 %

- HSSC (Part-1) / HSSC / A level = 15 %
Normally first-year marks (HSSC part 1) is considered for Aggregate calculations but if the student has to second year (FSC 2) result then a complete FSC score is considered.
