SZABMU MDCAT was conducted under the supervision of PMDC on 13 November. SZABMU conducted the MDCAT exam for Islamabad, AJK, Gilgit and Overseas Pakistani residents. Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Medical University SZBAMU is located in Islamabad and it has 02 public government sector Medical Colleges in which in is located in Islamabad named Federal Medical and Dental College FMDC and the Second one is located in Lahore which is Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Medical & Dental College SKZMDC. Both Medical colleges offer 100 MBBS seats each year.

There is also one Public sector dental college under SZABMU which is FMDC Federal Dental College which is located in Islamabad and it offers 50 BDS seats each year.
