courses are that candidates must have a minimum CGPA of 3.0 out of 4.0 or 3.75 out of 5.0 in the semester-wise exams system or have First Division in the Annual exam system in M.Phil./MS with relevant research work. Also, candidates have scored > 60 % in the GAT Subject exam for PhD direct program. Moreover, BS, MS, or MPhil degree of the candidate must be approved by HEC.

NUST University Admissions
Dates for Admissions, NUST offers PhD admission once in year for the fall semester. Admission registrations start in July and classes commence from mid of September or the start of October. The application forms will be filled out online from the NUST website, click on the Visit button provided below. Candidates who are willing to do research work for national needs will be preferred.
